- Event: Kabuli – An Ode to Afghanistan’s Golden Era
- Location: Taftoon (BKC & Powai)
- Date: 21st March to 20th April 2025
Taftoon, known for celebrating the historic Grand Trunk Road, brings the golden era of Afghanistan to life with Kabuli—a special food festival inspired by 1960s Kabul. The menu revives soulful dishes like Maushawa, a nourishing lentil and yogurt soup; Boulanee, crisp flatbreads with spiced fillings; Afghani Mantu, delicate dumplings from the Silk Road; and Qorma-E-Olu Bokhara, a slow-cooked lamb dish with Persian flavors. Taftoon’s take on Kofte Chalou, served as Dahi Kofte, adds a creative twist to a classic.
