Forgotten Cocktail Club

In a world constantly moving forward, sometimes the best thing to do is simply sit back and enjoy the classics. On October 15, for one night only, Taftoon launched its Forgotten Cocktail Club in association with beverage publication Gurgl.

If you feel like Whisky Sours, Negronis and Martinis are all over Mumbai’s bar scene today, you aren’t alone. Today’s young bar enthusiast has had the classic and interpreted versions of these old cocktails at more than one bar in the city.

Which is all great… until you realise there’s an entire world of cocktails that have seemingly disappeared from the cocktail map. And just like Taftoon brought alive classic dishes from the Grand Trunk Road, we’ve scoured cocktail trends and history to bring a formidable list of ‘forgotten’ cocktails for you to savour and sip.
